Norman Reedus (56) has confirmed that filming for the fourth season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is already underway. The actor is currently enjoying a double success: he delivers a compelling performance in the film "Ballerina" with Ana de Armas (37), and he is also breaking new ground in his signature role as Daryl. Although the third season of the series has yet to begin, production on the sequel is already underway. A recently published photo on X, which shows a caravan on the set in the background, indicates that filming is currently underway—but it's unclear what new locations and adventures Daryl will face in the coming seasons.

The series, which breaks new ground in the "Walking Dead" universe, is set in Europe for the first time. Season three follows Daryl and Carol, played by Melissa McBride (60), through more thrilling twists and turns while also focusing on new, exotic locations such as Spain. The spin-off is one of the franchise's most popular offshoots, and it recently ranked second in Moviepilot's ranking of all "Walking Dead" series, trailing only the Rick and Michonne series "The Ones Who Live." The third season's official premiere date is still unknown, but it is expected to air in the fall of 2025. Season four is therefore expected to come about a year later.
